Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain pushchair that offers lightweight durability and great maneuverability. The compact fold using one hand makes it simple to carry. It can also stand on its own when folded. The padded seat reclines into an almost flat position and there's a large canopy and storage bin. Newborn suitability: Yes it comes with a carrycot (not suitable for overnight sleeping).
Air-filled tyres and good suspension will handle rough terrain well. It's also suitable for jogging, but you must wait until your baby is at least six or nine months old for this.
Ickle Bubba XL Air
This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is a great option for parents looking for lightweight strollers with added features. It comes as an all-in-one travel system that includes a lie-flat carrycot for infants, a movable forward and rear-facing pushchair seat as well as a choice of a car seat, so you can get everything you need in one package.
The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to see why it's earned the highest praise from its customers. It is incredibly lightweight with the chassis and wheels weigh only 6.5kg. It's extremely easy to put together. In fact, I was able to put it up and running in just five minutes, which is pretty impressive considering it included a strapping of the fabric for the carrycot!
The seat is wide and comfortable for Annie who is just 12 months old. The recline lever was easy to operate. There's a good amount of room inside the basket, and I love the fact that it has a zip-up pocket in the handle bar so you can keep your phone and keys safe!
The handlebar is a bit low, which may be an issue for parents who are taller. However, it's coated in a gorgeous leather-like material that is soft and comfortable and cleans down easily, meaning it's still easy to push even with children and bags on your hands!
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is designed for parents who like to explore and are always on the move. The large pneumatic wheels are able to be used on forest and field paths. The front wheel is lockable and swivels for added flexibility. It also comes with a cushioned 5-point safety harness and front bar to keep your little one secure on all journeys and the parking brake is able to stop the stroller from moving while you take a break. The comfortable seat is simple to recline to a comfortable lying position, and the canopy opens to reveal netting for optimum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm, to fit mom or dad.
If you're planning short jogs or a longer hike, the Runner is ready to accompany you on all your adventures with a comfortable, flat lie-flat seat and suspension air wheels that promise an unhurried ride. The front wheel can be locked for greater stability when walking on narrow streets or busy sidewalks. The stroller can also fold up to fit in car boot spaces and storage spaces.
The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to navigate for some parents than its predecessor. Also, the locking system (requiring two buttons either on either side of the handlebar) is less user-friendly. The handlebar is a little higher than other strollers and therefore it may not be suitable for parents with shorter arms but overall, it's an extremely sturdy and flexible stroller worthy of consideration for families with active kids.
Red Kite Push Me Pace
Red Kite's Pace is a top product from the affordable British brand. They are renowned for their well-designed, no-fuss products that are essential to parents. It's the most recent - and priciest - addition to their bargain lightweight stroller collection. It's also, like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo is car seat compatible which means you can use it from the beginning (the carrycot folds away).
The new Pace has some fantastic design features such as a rose-gold shade on the chassis, hood, and stroller trims, which really make it stand out. The stroller and car seat fabrics are fashionable in grey, tan, and cream. You can also choose to add handles made of leather and a bumper bar to complement.

It is suitable from birth up to a max weight of 22kg and the stroller seat can easily be converted from a carrycot to an reversible 2-in-1 mode that can be parent or world-facing. The stroller seat features multiple lie-back positions, soft padded legs rests, and an extendable sun canopy that has zip-off sections that are concealed and a transparent flap, and a retractable visor.
When folded in half, the Pace measures up at 56 x 43 x 32cm which means it can be used as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair among other airlines. Two buttons on either side are easy utilize and press into the appropriate position.
Bugaboo Fox 5,
The idea behind it is to create the ultimate all-terrain stroller, Bugaboo's latest Fox 5 promises to do it all. Its unique chassis, coupled with a shorter wheel-distance, makes it more agile than its predecessor. I tried it out alongside my two kids - one a toddler and another eight week old - over rough terrain, grassy woodland walks and even cobblestones.
The large puncture-proof wheels, which measure 22cm or 30cm in size they can be used on different terrains. The wheels come with an opening that can be closed or opened to let more air in when required. It's a little larger than some pushchairs but it doesn't feel bulky or heavy when you're pushing it over bumpy surfaces.
The fabric for the seat is machine washable and the faux leather grips and frame are easy to clean. It's also much quieter than many pushchairs and I felt comfortable using it in busy city streets. It has integrated accessory points that allow you to attach parasols and footmuffs as well as changing bags or snack trays, and even snack tray. You can also use the hood to block wind and rain, although it's not particularly waterproof. It's a single pram but you can attach their Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) to give your child a bit of leg room. It took around 20 minutes to assemble the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to convert it into the seat.

The Ridge's reversible seat allows you to choose if your child is facing you or the world ahead. The simple foot brake system makes it a breeze for new parents. A great feature is the reversible handlebar which allows you to adjust it to your height and preferences. The Ridge's fold, unlike other strollers, is stable and self-standing when folded.
iCandy Core
iCandy’s new pushchair has many features that will be awe-inspiring to parents. It has a Multi-Mode Wheelbase and a revolutionary LED Visibility Hub Light, which is an industry first. It comes with an integrated Ride-on Board that helps reduce future costs, and lets tired toddlers join the family during outings.
The Core is available as a travel system or a single seat. It works with the most popular car seats, including those from Cybex Maxi Cosi Joie. As with all iCandy pushchairs it is beautifully constructed and comes with premium knitted jersey fabrics. The child's removable bumper bar as well as the handlebar that parents can adjust are made of soft leatherette. The calf support that folds away are also very comfortable for children.
I was impressed with how easy it is to fold and collapse it only requires one hand, even with the seat unit on. It is also easy to fit into your boot and hallway, making it perfect for travelling. The iCandy Core comes with lots of extra accessories, including a colour matching changing rucksack and a footmuff/liner.
